As expected of the gambler! This is a better Partner than the original Columbus in my opinion:
She doesn't look like she give a damn back then either
The original effect is a [Battle Phase Effect] requires you to send 1 card from your Hand to your Waiting Room, reveal the top card of your Deck, and add it to your Hand. Depending on the card's Type (Character/Event/Set), different effects will occur:
Character card: This Character gains +2 Attack and [Penetrate]
Event card: You may send 1 of your Opponent's Set cards to their Waiting Room
Set card: Retrieve 1 <OS: Eiyuu Senki> card from your Waiting Room to your Hand
Like her newer counterpart, her original effect involves luck, but the luck factor for the older Partner can be heavily reduced by using cards like this Billy the Kid which helps you rearrange the top few cards of your Deck.
She's not annoying, she's not noisy, she's annoyingly noisy
The new Partner in comparison is riskier, as announcing the wrong card results in nothing but a reduction of your Hand size by 1. Of course, you can reduce this risk by activating this effect only when you have a Hand size of 1 so you have a 100% chance of guessing the card.
As for the first effect, it is easily achievable even without Columbus's second effect. There is quite a number of cards which helps you gain additional draws during your Turn. Since this effect is not limited to any Phase, it is pretty good.

Next up! Perry! <3
-----
Whole new meaning to "F*cking cute loli" if you get what I mean
Trait and Name (Japanese): サスケハナ・ストライク「ペリー」
Trait and Name (English): Susquehanna Strike [Perry]
Element: Water/Air
Gender: Female
Stats and Growth: 6 / 7 ( +1 / - )
Card Number: ES-177C
Flavor Text (Japanese): マイ・ネーム・イズ・ペリー。USAの使者でーす。ナイストゥミーチュー
Flavor Text (English): My name is Perry. I'm USA's envoy. Nice to meet you
[Entry Cost]
Flip 1 of your Characters from Faced-up <Stand> position to Faced-down <Reverse> position.
[Continuous Effect]
As long as you have lesser Characters on your Area than your Opponent, this Character gains +3 Defence.
[Continuous Effect]
When this Character engages in Battle, nullify all of the skills of your Opponent's Battling Character.
-----
One of my favorite characters, but the effect isn't as great as I thought. This is (Strangely) better than the Rare Vlad Character from the Extra Booster:
I was a Rare card?!
Having the same entry cost, but lacking the conditional +3 Defence, I would still pick Perry even if Vlad offers the +1 additional Attack.
-----
That's all for today! See you again tomorrow!
